The RDU Filcon Filtration System, a combination RDX filter and hinged belt conveyor, is for use in machining/turning operations where long, stringy, sharp chips and “bird nests” are generated. The hinged belt conveyor removes and discharges these chips prior to the coolant reaching the drum section of the filter.
